Merry Christmas!

So it's finally Christmas, and it's weird that the older I get the quicker it comes and the quicker it passes. It's so sad...maybe next year I'll make the goal to make the season last longer...my brother and I ventured out to see "The Incredibles" today and it was pretty cool...although I wanted to see what happened to Mirage and Edna at the end! I got back and fell asleep for half the day! I didn't get much of anything this Christmas, which initially bummed me out, but it's alright, I'm 22 and kind of a loner, so I shouldn't expect much. The two gifts I did get this year was a industrial-sized rat trap from Nick to catch cats with and a ridiculously flashy pillow from Brad and Liz of NovaChild. And they have my love for that.

This is going to be my last semester in college, and the last time I'll be in formal education...ACK! This semester is going to be tough, the classload is moderate, and my senior project is due. Also, I officially have to move off of campus because money is short. I'll be camping out in Josh's living room...speaking of, I'll be finishing Josh's solo project. All this happening, I've lost most of the support I've had through the years...oh well, like I learned from "Joe Vs. The Volcano": "Sometimes you have to face life alone."

All the tough things to think about, life is alright right now because I'm ending Christmas day with the most perfect movie ever..."A Christmas Story" haha "You'll shoot your eye out!" Life is great now...granted I'm watching it by myself in my parents guest room on my laptop, but still...life is grand when you've got Ralphie and Red Ryder with you!

Anyway, Merry Christmas everyone!

It's Christmas Eve!

Hope everyone's having a great holiday so far...

So far in my "bored time" I've baked 4 loaves of bread in my mother's bread machine, learned how to program screensavers, revamped 2 websites, and have almost completed watching the most aweful movie ever "Dinotopia" which no one warned me was FOUR FRIGGIN' HOURS LONG! Check out all the extras I added to Josh's site under "Extras"! http://www.joshrocha.com

You know what concluded? High School sucks because in the 18 years of living with your parents, they don't want to understand, they want to cause conflict to keep communcation. It's like they say, "Bad attention is better than no attention." Scenario: I wake up and it's snowing. I see my dad shoveling in the front driveway and I get my jacket on and my mother asks me what I'm doing. I say I'm going to go help shovel. She says my father can handle it and not to worry about it. So I practice piano. My father comes in storming saying that I'm lazy because I made him shovel all by himself. I told him mom said he didn't need any help. Dad says that I'm 22 and should know when not to listen to my mother. Case and point.

Oh well, I'm going to bed...g'night.

So...bored...losing...IQ...

So if I wasn't bored as it was sitting in the middle of nowhere Indiana, my car broke down today the one time I decided to venture out to the mall. So the car is now sitting at the mechanic's awaiting diagnosis...furthering the $$ problems. I've watched 7 episodes of "Friends" on DVD twice, invited 865 members of MySpace.com to join Josh's MySpace page, made bread on my mother's bread machine, practiced piano every chance people leave the house or don't yell at me, and updated Josh's site and some of mine. Somewhere in there I watched "Dodgeball"
Well, I think I'm going to go to bed now, God bless,

Old Yeast and Money Troubles

So my mother has been having trouble making bread in her bread machine lately, (she says the bread comes out like a rock) and was getting ready to have me eBay the stinkin' thing. I decided to look at the machine and it looked fine. Then I looked at the packs of yeast she was using and it had an expiration of May 9, 1999. That would be the first problem. The next thing I noticed was that the bread flour she was using expired in Sept. of 1999. Oops...well at least I'm not the only bad cook in the family!

I seem to be running into some money troubles and it looks like I may be moving into Josh's living room. Oh well, Dubach was interesting while it lasted. At least I'll be living with another friend instead of a random roommate like some of the summers have been. I'd hate to leave Nick in that creepy house alone, but I can't really afford another option unless financial aid can cough up some more money (which they said so far they can't.) So, I'm in a bind. Ack! Dear God, please show an answer, this is my last semester!!!!

Not much time...

I'm about to go to bed, but I'll do a brief update...

I finally unveiled my Christmas gift to Josh, the website I built for him, it was a lot of hard work, I had to learn a lot of programming language I didn't know in about two days, but it was a labor of love for one of my closest friends. Check it out and become a Josh fan...
