On top of the world...

So the day started kind of rough because I was battling with some conversations with a friend from the day before. But then I went to studio to mix/master the NovaChild material and saw a session open already. I was SO EXCITED to find it was one of the tracks I worked on with Dr. J! He had drum parts on it!!!! I listened to a bit and they sounded incredible, and about then Matt Mellinger walked in and I looked at him and asked him if he played this, and it was him! This guy is like one of the greatest drummers I've known and he's playing on songs I wrote! I've never had other people play real instruments on songs I wrote! It made my day, my month, and my year! It's amazing how reborn you feel when you know someone else cares about your music and you get to end your day knowing your music is progressing and not you working and someone else's music progressing.
