East Coast Here I Come...

this is an audio post - click to play

So it's been forever and a week since I've last posted, but life has been crazy. I've graduated from college with my music degree and life is GREAT. I've decided that life in Dallas wouldn't be for me. That and all of my industry mentors have been praying that I not end up in Dallas. They said it would be career suicide as far as music goes. So I investigated a potential job with a company I had worked with briefly last summer, Brandywine Electronics (or BEL). My friend Nick (who works for them full-time) put a good word in for me and now they are finding a place for me out there with the company. It's been a huge blessing. My friend Paul will be in DC that's only a couple hours away and the East Coast has something no one else does, Rita's water ice...(look back to last summer's posts for some details on that.) I feel so free now making my own decisions. Right now I'm still in Greenville working for the college in the music department. It's a good deal right now because it's kind of a half vacation. I move on June 25. My little brother graduated high school last week and I officially feel old! It seems like a few days ago he was 8! Regardless, I'm thankful for good friends and God's hand...I'll write more later, but now it's time for bed...

P.S. For those of you that couldn't be there, here's a pic from my graduation, that's me and Dr. J. God bless...
