Welcome to the Lonestar State...

So I'm finally here after a 12 hour commute between Greenville, IL and Tyler, TX. This last week has been another rollercoaster ride. Not only was there Kelly Condron's senior recital, I drove to Nashville, TN to pick up Kevin Reeves to play for Josh's recital and then drove him back to Nashville. Three days later, I'm back on the road with Josh heading to TX for Spring Break. We're about to find out how living in Dallas may be...I was nervous all the way here...I've never been that way visiting new places. Maybe something about the south intimidates me...oh well, I'm here now and ready to pass out...g'night all...more later...

Feel Like A New Man...

So the recital went AWESOME...thanks to everyone that came out and sorry that I couldn't spend more time with everyone. I have never felt more ALIVE in my life...it was a bittersweet experience because it was so great. I realized that night that I can play well and that my songs aren't that bad. I was actually happy for the first time in a long time. On the other hand, I know that it was the last time I would get to perform and it kind of hurts thinking about. But regardless, I had my moment and it was perfect.

I'm convinced there is no better feeling than the waking up the next morning after performing a show like that. I feel like a new man and ready for the world. Anyway, thanks again everyone...have a blessed night...
