Washington D.C.
So my good friends Kevin and Patti were in our nation's capital today visiting from Indy. I had been meaning to come out and visit Paul (since we both moved out to the East Coast the same time and live 2 hours apart). I had the weekend off so I figured this was a great opportunity to head out. I spent most of the morning and afternoon with Kev and Patti sight seeing (Washington Monument, Lincoln Monument, Holocaust Museum) and getting some dinner (thanks guys for the dinner!). Then I headed over to Paul's. And by headed I mean got really lost in weird D.C. street traffic and accidentally ended up at his apartment.
We've just been chillin' and watching T.V. and it's kind of nice. We haven't hung out in a long time. It just seemed not too long ago we were at Steak 'n Shake in Kokomo saying goodbye and going to college. Then both ending up on the East Coast. I'm proud of the guy. He's straight out of college and working on the hill and has a really nice apartment.
Through all of this, it'll be interesting to see what the years to come bring. We're growing up, but life is far from over.
Well, it's late and I'm tired...g'night world...
