42 Questions...

So I’m waiting on the next stage of my current work and projects, so I’m going to do this but also expand some of the answers to be more long winded and detailed for those of you that like that kind of thing…others may just want to skip this now... ;)

Welcome to the new edition of getting to know your friends. Okay here's what you're supposed to do, and try not to be lame andspoil the fun! Just copy (not forward) this entire e-mail and paste into a new e-mail that you can send. Change all the answers sothat they apply to you. Then send this to a whole bunch of people you know, INCLUDING the person that sent it to you. Some ofyou may get this several times-that means you have lots of friends!

1. What is your full name? USA: Rodney Seong Kim, Korea: Kim Seon Min – Rodney was the name of a stripper my mom knew, so I was named after him and my brother, Peter, was named after the Apostle Peter, guess maybe my parents had different expectations for each of us? Seong is a derivative of my Korean name, “Kim Seon Min” and Kim is of course my family name. Kim Seon Min was the name given to me by my grandfather, but my US birth certificate reads “Rodney Seong Kim”

2. What color pants are you wearing now? Dirty Khaki Shorts…I work at a live sound company, so I have to look decent, but I have to get dirty. So the nice thing about dark khakis is that most times, unless they are completely filthy, you have to look close to see they’re dirty. All that to say I’m in my work clothes and I’ve been working all day.

3. What are you listening to right now? Nothing right at this moment, but I’m an iPod guy…if I do listen to radio, it’s usually FREEFM with Barski or something…just for kicks and giggles, here’s the Top 10 most played songs on my iPod:
1. Learning to Fly (Tom Petty)
2. Let Me Be (demo) (Tara Vanzanten)
3. We Shout (t.A.T.u.)
4. Goodnight Elisabeth (Counting Crows)
5. Best I Ever Had (Vertical Horizon)
6. Silent All These Years (Tori Amos)
7. Photograph (Nickleback)
8. Gomensai (t.A.T.u.)
9. Man (Elton John)
10. Sleeps with Butterflies (Tori Amos)

4. What was the last thing you ate? Veggie Burrtio from Moe’s. Weird trivia: I’m not a vegetarian, but I like lots of different vegetarian alternatives! Gardenburger is one of my favorite foods!

5. Do you wish on stars? Sometimes, but I’m Wishing Well guy. Trivia: I carry nothing but pennies as change in my pockets. Every time I pass a fountain I have to throw one in, I make one or both of the same two wishes every time…if they ever come true, I’ll say what they are.

6. If you were a crayon, what color would you be? If I were my favorite color, I’d be a bright blue. If I were a crayon by ethnicity, I’d be yellow ;)

7. How is the weather right now? B-E-A-utiful! Spring in the East Coast rocks!

8. Last person you spoke to on the phone? Elizabeth Lee…just briefly, we both had to go…weird, it’s the first time we didn’t talk so long that one of our phones died.

16. What was the last movie you saw? In theaters? The last movie I watched was High School Musical…the last movie I saw in theatres was The Davinci Code. Random personal opinion spot: I’m a Christian, and if you’re a Christian too, you can choose to like this movie or not, but don’t waste time fighting it saying it’s threatening to the religion. It’s JUST FICTION, there are millions of people suffering everyday around the world, wars breaking out, homeless on the streets and priests butt-raping altar boys…of all the things to worry about, forget the f***ing movie! I’m just picturing God and Jesus up in Heaven watching The Davinci Code on a multiplex in the sky talking about how talented Tom Hanks is and how disappointed they are in the church mobs for ignoring the real problems in the world.

17. Favorite day of the year? I HEART X-MAS! I start celebrating in July! I love the atmosphere, the snow, Times Square, the movies, everything…When I was in college, the primary lighting in my dorm rooms year round were always Christmas lights. When I was stressed I’d make paper chain decorations from construction paper. One year, I covered my entire ceiling!

18. What was your favorite toy as a child? Hard to say…I suppose this little electric piano with a record player attached.

19. Summer or winter? Hmm…hard to say, but there is something about Winter that feels magical for me, maybe because I associate it with Christmas.

21. Chocolate or vanilla? Vanilla, although one of my favorite drinks is chocolate coke! (Thanks Pamn!)

22. Do you want your friends to email you back? Doesn’t matter, I’m probably busy anyway.

24. Who is least likely to respond? Hitler.

25. What happend to question 25? Hitler.

26. When was the last time you cried? Jeb’s apartment, just after Amy dumped me a few years ago. Didn’t stop for a while. Much better now…

27. What is under your bed? The case for my mobile piano. That thing is a piece of crap…I need a new one!

32. What are you afraid of? Losing music and being alone!

33. Plain, buttered or salted popcorn? Fake movie theatre butter…oh yeah…

34. Favorite car? Eh, whatever runs…I think have Batman’s tank from Batman Begins would be really cool!

35. Favorite flower? I’m not a flower guy, but I was at a flower garden for a show I worked at and thought that daisies looked like the happiest flowers in the garden.

36. Numbers of keys on your key ring? 10 Keys, 1 LED Flashlight, 1 USB Flash Drive

37. How many years at your current job? 1 month short of a year.

38. Favorite day of the week? Friday

39. What did you do on your birthday? Nick’s mother took us out sailing in Baltimore and to dinner in the inner harbor…totally awesome.
