I would walk 500 miles...

So I starting wearing a pedometer today just to see how far I walk...I figure for a little while I'll keep track of how much I walk and see how long it takes me to get to 500 miles...hey why not, it was good enough for The Proclaimers, right?

So this thing tracks my steps with a laser, so it's probably giving me cancer, but at least it's accurate. Each day I'll add 0.05 miles (126 steps) to account for getting up in the morning and getting in the shower, getting ready and such as well as the end of the day when I'm cleaning up and heading to bed for the time I have the pedometer off. (I measured it last night.)
