Heroes Marathon and the New Computer
It's officially September and I know I say this every year, but it is hard to believe another year has gone by since my last birthday and this time I'll be a quarter century old! Between that, Labor Day and a friend from work getting married on Friday, I was actually able to talk my boss into letting me have the weekend off. It was all timed perfectly because my delayed notebook computer order came in and "Heroes: Season 1" released on HD DVD at the same time. I've been spending the evenings after work in front of nearly 20 hours of Heroes and configuring my computer just the way I want it as well as transferring data from the old computer to the new one.
At the beginning of the week I got an unexpected call from a high school buddy I hadn't seen in nearly 6 years. Turns out he was passing through the area from Indy to Philly for American Idol tryouts. Dan stayed at my place for a few days and we caught up while I introduced him to Heroes. He's officially hooked.
So today, a few more tweaks on the computer and just being lazy for once. Then, back to work on Tuesday.
